Esna Allied is a Strategic Alliance between Esna (Pvt) Ltd and Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd, where the financial strength of Esna Holdings Group and the Technical expertise and skills of the Transglobe Group have been amalgamated to grow in the ever-expanding local and international market space. Thus, Esna Allied Enterprises was incorporated as a member of the Esna Holdings Group. Esna (Pvt) Ltd, which had its origin in 1931 as Shermans, was reincorporated as Esna (Pvt) Ltd with the advent of the third generation under the New Companies Act 7 of 2007. Esna today, is a company engaged in emerging opportunities in Sri Lanka, with significant investments in the power, renewable energy, shipping, logistics, exports, fuel bunkering, lubricants, mining and in the local banking and finance sectors, thus has an increasing portfolio of subsidiaries operating in a range of industry verticals and continues to diversify its business interest. Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd, established in 1982 as Transglobe Ltd, commenced as a General Trading and Engineering Services Company providing Preventive Maintenance Solutions and Facility Management services to the commercial, industrial, defence, power and energy, healthcare, and plantation sectors, and expanded over the years with its subsidiaries, namely, Transglobe Engineering Ltd, Ceypharma Ltd, and Magnachem Ltd. Under the new companies act 7 of 2007, all the businesses were amalgamated and re-incorporated as Transglobe Consolidated (Pvt) Ltd.
